Our outreach workers run groups at our Goodwyns Road site and in the community. In addition they are able to support some parents in their homes, at the Centre and/or on the phone if they have a particular need. If you feel you would benefit from such 1:1 support please speak to Centre staff or your health visitor.
The aim of our outreach service is:
- To offer in-depth social, emotional and practical support and advice to families/ carers in the family home or other venues as appropriate, including Centre sites.
- To enhance parenting skills in order to improve short and long-term outcomes for children.
- To build confidence, self-esteem and resilience within family members.
- To support families to independently access targeted and universal services for the benefit of themselves and their children.
