Race for the Kids for Great Ormond Street
You can help raise valuable money for Great Ormond Street Hospital by taking part in the RBC Global Virtual Race for the Kids on 17-18 Oct.
Each year, the big-hearted folks at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) raise money to support Great Ormond Street Hospital in treating seriously ill children from all over the UK – and they can’t do it without your help. Donations help the hospital to transform lives, but this year, many of the charity’s key fundraising events have been cancelled due to Covid-19. So what has GOSH Charity done instead? It’s launched RBC Global Virtual Race for the Kids (October 17-18), which could just be the biggest virtual family fun run the world has ever seen.
So how does it work? Here’s the coolest bit: it’s entirely up to you. You can choose between a 2.5k, 5k, 10k or distance of your choice and complete it however you want. Run, walk, skip, jump, bike, skateboard… whatever gets you there. And the location is your choice, too. Discover a dreamy new nature trail, navigate city streets, leave London behind – the possibilities are endless!
To get started, visit the website and register for free. You can set up a customisable fundraising page to send to your friends and family. Plus, you’ll get access to the Festival Hub, where you’ll find exclusive warm-ups, entertainment and activity tutorials.
Being a part of this GOSH Charity event means you’ll be giving seriously ill children the chance for a better future. Trainers on, London: it’s time to make a difference.
