We host a range of services for families in the Dorking area at our Sure Start Children's Centres and in the community:

At Dorking Nursery School Children's Centre we provide:

• High quality integrated nursery education and care for 2 to 5 year olds
• Stay and Play groups for children from birth to three with their parents and carers
• Kickers & Crawlers for children under one with their parents and carers
• Early Bird courses for parents of children newly diagnosed with autism
• Workshops, courses and discussion groups on parenting issues
• Groups for parents of twins or multiple births (under the age of 5)
• A Stay and Play session for Childminders
• Surrey Nurturing Parenting courses
• Holiday Stay and Play sessions for children under 5 and their parents and carers
• Regular visits from CAB adviser

At Dorking Rural Children's Centre we provide:

• Stay and Play groups for children from birth to five with their parents and carers
• Workshops, courses and discussion groups on parenting issues
• A breastfeeding support group run by Health Visitors
• A baby clinic run by Health Visitors
• Post natal courses for first time mothers
• A Dads and Kids Group
• Playlink home visiting service
• Toy Library
• A young parents group
• Holiday Stay and Play sessions for children under 5 and their parents and carers
• ELC - Engagement with the Local Community (English courses for speakers of other languages)
• Regular visits from CAB adviser

"Out & about" in the Community we provide:

• Stay and Play groups for children from birth to five with their parents and carers at Beare Green Village Hall
• Outreach services to the rural communities of Westcott, Ockley, Capel, Ranmore, Abinger Common, Okewood Hill and Beare Green
