Jobcentre Plus

At both centres we provide an information board in the reception area for Jobcentre Plus for parents and carers of young children.

Jobcentre Plus can help and support you with:

• Interview costs: The cost to attend adviser or job interviews and childcare may be refunded
• Work trials: Gives you the opportunity to try out a job for up to 15 days without your benefits being affected
• Better off Calculation (BOC): a Jobcentre Plus adviser can complete a financial calculation to see whether you will be better off working
• Working/Child Tax Credit: you may be eligible - our advisers can help you apply
• Childcare: Working Tax Credit includes a childcare element where up to 80% of weekly registered childcare costs can be paid. You must contact us prior to registering with any childcare facilities
